![]() ![]() Oh my, Rainbow Rowell is becoming a favorite of mine, I’m hitching to pick up Eleanor & Park and I can’t wait to get my hands on Landline. I loved that not everything has to start is a perfect way for it to be perfect, because life is messy. I loved that the girl made the first move. I liked that Lincoln actually put his life together before he got the girl. The thought of what to do next is terrifying, paralyzing at times, especially when you feel that the only thing you’re good at is actually being in school. ![]() I’m 30 and I’m still in school and I never ever want to leave. this book powerfully illustrates the devastation of abuseand the strength of the survivors. I identify with Lincoln in more ways than one… life is hard. ![]() And it’s actually impossible to hate anyone on the book… for a long time I really wanted to hate Chris, Beth’s boyfriend, because I felt that she deserved better than he was giving her, but I couldn’t hate him, because somehow, they all felt so genuine, so true… how can you hate a character for their honesty?! ![]() It’s impossible not to love Lincoln, Beth and Jennifer. But on some levels I loved Attachments even more. This book is for anyone who desires closeness, especially in the most intimate relationships: marriage, parenting, close friends, and ultimately with God.
